This comprehensive report emphasizes the company’s EcoVadis Gold rating and its improved CDP score, reflecting its commitment to science-based emissions reduction targets. With global organizations increasingly prioritizing Scope 3 emissions and ESG accountability, K2 Group has expanded its client-level emissions reporting, showcasing its dedication to sustainability in global mobility.

The report details K2 Group’s robust ESG initiatives, including greenhouse gas emissions tracking across Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 categories. It highlights their alignment with international reporting frameworks such as the Global Reporting Initiative, the Greenhouse Gas Protocol, and the Science Based Targets initiative. This approach underscores the company’s commitment to ethical operations and sustainability, especially in the context of global mobility, where extensive supply chains and partner networks contribute significantly to Scope 3 emissions.

Notably, K2 Group reported a total of 14,418 tCO₂e market-based emissions in 2025, predominantly from relocation-related Scope 3 activities. By collaborating with Furthr, a Net Zero strategy consultancy, the company has enhanced its activity-based emissions reporting methodologies. This collaboration aims to provide greater operational visibility and accuracy in reporting emissions from household goods shipments, accommodation, and travel activities, while also reducing Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions through renewable energy procurement and increased operational efficiency.

Achieving several ESG milestones, K2 Group attained an EcoVadis Gold rating, placing it in the top 5% of companies assessed globally, and improved its CDP score to a B rating. The company maintained its ISO certifications across quality, environmental, information security, and occupational health standards, demonstrating its commitment to high governance standards. Additionally, K2 Group continued to invest in employee wellbeing and workplace culture, achieving Great Place To Work® recertification.

Looking forward, K2 Group is steadfast in its commitment to align emissions reduction targets with the Paris Agreement. The company aims to reduce Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 42% by 2030, with a long-term goal to cut total emissions by 90% by 2050. As it expands globally, K2 Group plans to re-baseline its targets in 2026 to ensure their continued relevance. Through enhanced collaboration across their partner ecosystem, K2 Group remains focused on promoting sustainable relocation practices, offering clients improved insights into the environmental impact of mobility operations.
